Where Bourbon Meets the Beat: Inside Bourbon Jam
Where can you hear eight hours of live music, take part in a cornhole tournament, see a car and motorcycle show, and taste the best from local breweries, distilleries and food trucks, and do it all while supporting first responders?

Where? Right here in Richmond. Join us August 23rd in the Richmond Mall parking lot (830 Eastern Bypass) for a day of fun, food and philanthropy as the Bourbon Jam Music Festival celebrates its fourth anniversary.
An eight-hour concert is every music lover鈥檚 dream, and that鈥檚 what festivalgoers will have with another stellar lineup of musical talent.
The Creekers, from Leslie County, combine bluegrass with country, for what fans call 鈥渁 sound all their own.鈥
Nic Cassetta is a local from here in Madison County, and along with his Company of musicians, offers an eclectic musical palette ranging from classic country to classic rock. And Nic might even toss in a few of his own original songs.
Avery Glen Crabtree is known for his high energy performances which leave fans of his Americana and alt country music fusion clamoring for more. A Lexington native, he weaves complex narratives into his lyrics. Just one thing 鈥 we鈥檙e wondering how his rendition of 鈥淭ennessee Whiskey鈥 by Chris Stapleton will go over with a crowd of 福利姬视频 bourbon drinkers.
Somerset native Logan Purcell was studying mechanical engineering at Morehead State University when the music bug bit. After teaching himself to play the guitar from watching You Tube videos, there was no turning back. Come see why the engineering world鈥檚 loss is music鈥檚 gain.
John Thomas Moore may be just 22 years old, but the Harrodsburg native has packed a lot of musical success into those 22 years. His songs, ranging from Americana to rock and roll, have been known to bring an audience to its feet.
If you love country music with a southern twang, County Wide is just the band for you. The five-member ensemble from Corbin brings its own flair to the classics.
Finally, you have to love someone with the moniker Deadair Dennis. Dennis Maler has been known to spontaneously burst into song (either karaoke or the occasional live performance) at clubs around Lexington. But mostly, he is known for his comedic talents as a radio host and podcaster on Sirius XM and stations throughout the country. You can be sure there won鈥檛 be any 鈥渄ead air鈥 when Dennis takes the stage.
All this great music is bound to make you hungry and thirsty. Not to worry. The Bourbon Jam has you covered in that department as well. Food trucks which will have a presence at this year鈥檚 festival are: Kirk鈥檚 Blue Smoke BBQ; Fully Loaded (burgers & fries); The Spatzle Factory and Critchfield Meats Family Market.
County Boy Brewing, West Sixth Brewing, Barrel House Distilling Co., 1620 Distilling Company from Prestonsburg, and Logan Vineyards Winery will make sure no one鈥檚 throat gets too dry from cheering on all those bands (over 21 only, please).
Depending on how active or inactive you want to get, you can take a leisurely stroll to check out the classic cars and motorcycles or rev up the old arm to display your cornhole skills.
And just remember 鈥 all your fun goes to support our first responders.
