The College Welcome Guide

The College Welcome Guide

This first-of-its-kind, one-stop-shop tool helps students assess where they might feel welcome at colleges across the U.S.

In addition to our newsletters, reported stories and other content, we created The College Welcome Guide to better serve our various audiences, from students and families to educators. These days, prospective college students are thinking through which schools offer majors they鈥檙e interested in, whether the sports teams are ones they鈥檇 be proud to cheer for, and how close/far they want to venture from home. (Not to mention the biggie: How much college is going to cost – and how they鈥檙e going to pay for it?!?) But there are about a zillion other things to consider as well.

That鈥檚 where The College Welcome Guide comes in.

The guide has data for thousands of colleges that can help students explore (by state or by institution) data on things such as hate crimes, anti-LGBTQ legislation, state abortion laws and numbers of students who identify as Black, rural, military veterans, LGBTQ+ or from other backgrounds.

福利姬视频 is seeking sponsors who appreciate the need for students to have easy access to this crucial information and who share our mission to cover inequities in the education space.

Tuition Tracker

We created the to better serve our various audiences, from students and families to educators. More than ever, paying for higher education is one of the most important financial decisions that students and families make.

That鈥檚 where the Tuition Tracker comes in.

Our website allows students to make smart choices about where to apply for college. We take public information that is spread over various college and government websites and put it into one, easy-to-navigate page, where students and families can find out the average price for each college based on their family’s income.

Made for students

During the school year, there is a trendline of busy usage (with a lull occurring in the summer) – this indicates that teachers, school counselors and high school students find the Tracker to be a valuable tool. We also know that educators embed the website in course materials, with most traffic coming via desktop.
